| CLASS DETAIL |
| Description: |
Today 95% of transactional customer communications applications are "legacy print streams". This session will examine the state of the transactional customer communications market and the current use of legacy print streams as well as how organizations have arrived at this point and how they can manage to move forward and avoid stagnation. We will answer the questions above, discussing the limitations of the various legacy print streams, and focusing on techniques such as Print Stream Transforms and Document Re-engineering, to allow organizations to meet their business needs and mitigate their downside risks.
Print Stream Transforms can be used to leverage legacy print streams, allowing them to be re-purposed and used with newer print/finishing hardware, archive/viewing software, enterprise content management systems and many other newer systems. Document Re-engineering means making changes to bills, statements and other mission-critical transactional customer communications post-composition. It provides the ultimate in flexibility for the printing and mailing of transactional customer communications that are created using legacy print streams. |
